Toon Can Do!-Cute and Wacky Enamel Pins

We are back home from travel and Friday/Monday was another great step forward for this campaign! Pinecone is on her way home AND Maverick has entered production! Both images will be shown in the 'Backers Only' section. We are still on schedule with the remaining designs payments and production. We are looking to start reviewing orders and processing shipping after Maverick arrives and I do quality checks. Only 2 more pins remain and should be in hand no later than the end of August. By that point I will start locking remaining orders that are ready for fulfillment.

Good News! The tariffs have been lowered to 30%. 

The Updated Production Schedule is as follows

Once Maverick arrives, I'll start locking shipping addresses for orders that don't include Lilyhop or Reggie and prepare to ship those orders. Once Lilyhop and Reggie arrive, I'll start locking and shipping those orders.

In spite of the Tariff Nonsense, I have some good news!

Wackford is in hand tariff free (as far as I'm aware of). 

After a huge back and forth with our sticker manu and the threat of having to do a charge back with them, they finally have them ready to ship. I will be watching them closely on this one. 

Tariffs are still in effect at a minimum of 145%. I'm still monitoring this on the daily so that I can put the rest of these pins through production as soon as possible. 

We still have 2 surveys incomplete and one pay over time incomplete. While I like the pay over time options being flexible to pledgers, it really puts a delay in finalizing costs and productions. Not sure if I will do this next Pintopia but we will see. Here's hoping the tariffs will be over by then.

I'm not happy, to say the least...

With the remaining pins that still need to finish manufacturing and the 145%-245% tariff that's in place, $2000-$2800 for manufacturing is clearly above what has been raised by you wonderful backers and what I can feasibly pay for out of pocket. This hurts all small businesses and we're trying to do what we can here. I was given the option to add a tariff fee to the incomplete pins, but I don't want everyone to pay more for an issue that is not in your control or mine.

Pin production is on hold and therefore NO ORDERS WILL BE FULFILLED until these tariffs are removed, reduced, or something changes.

I spent some time coming to this decision over everything that is going on right now. I'm working on going to a different sticker manufacturer after my go-to sticker manu refuses to refund me for the ordered stickers, nor produce my stickers. There's always something...


I wish it weren't all bad news.
